Launceston Driving School

                      Producing Safer Drivers!

We are back!

We appreciate your patience in this trying time and look forward to being of service to you once more.  We take the risk of the Covid crisis restarting seriously,  so we will be conducting driver training using disinfectant wipes before and after each lesson and disinfectant spray and masks will also be available.

Thank you

Help Us To Help You To Pass Your Driving Assessment

Tony says, "when I was an assessor in WA, I saw fail after fail of novice drivers as they thought they were ready for assessment, but then reality bit them in the bum. Head-Checks and Indicators!!"
Over confidence has cut short many Practical Driving Assessments, and he will work hard with you to see you do not fall into that trap. If you can display the skill, the attitude and situational awareness of a safe, considerate, courteous driver, there is no reason why you should not pass your PDA first time out.
Is he dreaming? May be. He will not make any promises because whether you pass is between you and the Service Tasmania driver assessor. Tony will only recommend you as being ready for your PDA when you and he is satisfied you are ready.
And you should be ready, not just to pass your PDA, but to continue to learn as you develop good driving habits and stay safe.  Your Probationary Driver's License is just a step in your car driving journey and your first target should be '6 Months - Zero Harm'

You will love the independence that your driver's license will give you, but it should not be at 'any'cost!
